Mandalas

I have recently become fascinated with the amazing history and art of creating Mandalas.

A Mandala is more than just a pretty picture.
From the Indian language of Sanskrit, meaning Sacred Circle, Mandalas are gateways to our divinity, the God in us. The art of centering that which is fragmented.

It is the basic structure of creation in the world as we know it: Earth, Sun and moon.
It is found in nature, as seen in biology, geology, chemistry, physics and astronomy.
Mandalas represent centered wholeness.

Mandalas can be simple or intricate, and anyone can create one.
They are totally absorbing, relaxing and fun to do and assist us in the process of awakening our soul to it's full potential, in our own personal journey towards unity, peace, harmony and wholeness.

I enjoyed very much creating Rainbow Yin and Yang, my 1st Mandala.
